Doula Services:
* 2 prenatal visits to discuss your wishes for labour and what you can expect to experience during your labour, as well as a hands on discussion on breastfeeding and an in depth look at postpartum depression and the signs to look for.
* Help in putting together a birth plan.
* Access to information and help with research so you are able to make informed decisions about your care during pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond.
* Early labour support in your home if desired.
* Continuous labour support, once active labour has begun, until approximately one to two hours after your baby is born. During this time breastfeeding will be initiated if mom and baby are ready.
* Non-medical comfort measures such as relaxation, visualization, massage and position changes as well as use of the birth ball.
* Phone and email support throughout your pregnancy and beyond for as long as you need it.
* One postpartum visit if you need them to help with any new parent questions and if you are having issues with breastfeeding.
* Copies of birth notes and photos if available, your comfort and relaxation come first to taking notes and pictures.
Cost: $1000.00 inclusive

New Life Prenatal Discount Package:
If you are taking childbirth education classes with Effie at New Life Prenatal you will receive the same services as above, at a discounted rate. (Proof of payment or coupon card obtained from New Life are required.)

Volunteer Births:
Discounted rates are available if I have space in my calendar. I do believe that every woman deserves a doula and I have lower cost doulas available. Proof of finances are required.
